Puerto Rico Federal Contracting Center (FeCC)
The Puerto Rico Federal Contracting Center (FeCC) is part of a nationwide network of Procurement Technical Assistance Centers that helps small businesses obtain government contracts with the Department of Defense, other federal agencies and federal prime contractors.
This assistance is provided at no cost to the small business owner. Small businesses (as defined by the Small Business Administration) that have a product or service needed by a government agency are welcome to apply for our services.
Mission
Our mission is to proactively position businesses in the federal government market while actively assisting and matchmaking companies with federal contracts available.
Services
The core of our procurement assistance program is one-on-one counseling. Our counselors provide assistance in areas such as:
- How to sell to the Federal Government
- Getting registered to do business with the government
- Small business certifications, including 8a, HUBZone & Small Disadvantaged Business
- Veteran's programs and registrations
- Matching & marketing your product or service to the appropriate government agencies
- The bidding and proposal process
- Mentor/Protégé Programs
- Market research
- Sub-contracting opportunities with Prime Contractors
- Search government databases to identify opportunities
- GSA Schedules
The FeCC also provides assistance in group settings through seminars, workshops, conferences and trade fairs at various locations in Puerto Rico on all topics related to federal contracting and the procurement process.
