The Puerto Rico Industrial Development Company (PRIDCO) offers cash grants based on the location of the facility, the number of employees hired by the company and the value of its investment in machinery and equipment.

The amount of the incentive for employment depends on the zone where the company is established. There are five different zones that are designated in accordance with the socioeconomic situation of each municipality. Those investment projects located in zones with lower industrial development will receive a larger amount of incentives.
