This office counsels industrials in issues related to the procedure to follow during public hearings and regulatory agencies. It develops, plans, designs and constructs buildings and industrial parks, acquires the land in anticipation of future demand, thus creating an inventory of lots and buildings for industrial use in order to foster private investment of the island.

Its objectives are to provide industry with the resources and the immediate attention to make viable and speed up industrial projects that create additional job opportunities.

Its Environmental Issues and Planning Division offers counseling to manufacturing companies so that they comply with laws and regulations related to environmental protection. It conducts an environmental impact analysis about projects to be promoted. It also offers technical orientation to industrials on environmental issues.
